Organic by
conviction.

Organic farming is more than just a trend for us. It’s a way of life – and a legacy we continue in honour of Bertram Rhomberg Jr., who was ahead of his time and brought the hotel’s own farm back to life.

Farming with
heart.

Johanna Rhomberg is a farmer by conviction. She took over the farm from her father and runs it with respect for the past and a sense of responsibility for the future. She knows every animal by name. The animals are fed exclusively on feed produced on the farm. The Grauvieh cattle have year-round access to open pasture and spend the summer months in the alpine pastures of the Gargellentals. Here, organic farming isn’t just a trend—it’s a way of life: no growth promoters, no artificial fertilizers, and no pesticides. The result: healthy soil, clear water and fresh mountain air—for people and animals alike.

Conscious living
in the Montafon.

“bewusstmontafon” is a joint initiative by farmers, restaurateurs and artisans that raises awareness of the region’s high-quality products. At its heart are a love of local produce, the diversity of regional specialities and the traditional crafts of the Montafon. It invites visitors to rediscover the region’s values and customs, appreciate its unique cultural landscape and experience the flavours of the Montafon with all their senses.
